Our Journey - From 'this is not the time' to the film script
Our journey started ten years ago.
- Our feature film script is based upon the collaborative works between 2112 Productions and Poez, including award-winning short films and documentary interviews from 2015 - 2019 in New York City. In 2022, we adapted our film script to an original audio docudrama with FunnyFace Productions in London. The purpose of our audio docudrama is to raise funds for the production of our independent feature film.
- Everyone - actors, producers, musicians, composers - involved in this audio production volunteered their time to help share our story and move the project along. Special thanks to Poez and Ferna https://www.breakingtunes.com/ferna for their songs and spoken-word poetry.
Our short film was a collaboration with Paul Mills (Poez)
We won ten awards from independent film festivals around the world. This short film inspired our feature length film script 'How Far To Zuccotti Park.'

Paul and I were interviewed many times.
Our first award
Paul and I shared the thought behind the film and took questions from the audience. This was the first time we realized people really liked our short film.
Recording voice overs from the script
We started working on the script in 2016 and met at Jon Gordon studios to record voice overs. Jon Frier created some animation (below) and we started to bring the story alive. We created an online storyboard with photos and voice overs to share a sense of what we want the film to look like.
Great talent
Our original production team was Chris Ocawah, Kierna Conner and Elizabeth Ness. We used some of the original voice overs in our current production.

Another Great Project
Pray-Er
Gerry Leonard and I collaborated on a short film based on his song "Pray-Er" and people liked the positive tone of the film. it was filmed live, mostly, at Gerry's gig which took place immediately after the Charlottesville tragedy and we wanted to create something that captured the mood of the room yet send a hopeful message. We won a few Independent film awards and were interviewed a few times as well. We were very excited to have our film show in theaters across NYC as part of the Winter Film Festival, which is funded by the NY Arts Foundation.
